But hiding behind the unusual, elegant exterior is a fully functional music center built around a vertically integrated record player and CD player. The CD player supports CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3 CD. The CD and record players can be found behind a glass double door. This device looks retro but still features state-of-the-art hi-fi technology.
The sound system is equipped with an encoder that makes it possible to record directly from records, CDs, and radio to USB or SD card, no computer needed. The front of the housing conceals all the technology behind it. A centrally located tuner, styled after a chronometer, features a green LED background and integrated dials; aside from that, absolutely no modern controls are visible when the doors are closed. The radio provides brilliant FM-stereo and AM radio reception.
