At the front, the 2 stereo speakers are installed, which have a very respectable output power of 2 x 15 watts RMS stereo and are also powerful enough to provide sound in medium-sized rooms. By means of the pre-programmed integrated equaliser, you can adjust the sound behaviour to your music style.

The 2.4-inch colour display in the front of the unit provides information about the most important functions and, of course, also serves as a clock display. The unit has two adjustable alarm times (dual alarm) including a sleep function.

The DAB+ and FM-RDS radio stations can be stored in presets for quick access to your favourite stations.

The CD player, discreetly integrated into the front panel, supports all major CD formats, including CD, CD-R/CD-RW and CD-MP3, as well as repeat and shuffle functions. In addition, the DAB970 has a special highlight: an audio book function (resume function). This allows you to continue listening to a CD at the exact point at which you interrupted playback. So you don't have to listen to a whole chapter again.

Of course, this unit also has a USB port which can be used to play your MP3s or to charge any device (e.g. smartphone or tablet).

The Bluetooth function creates connectivity to other devices, so that the Soundmaster DAB970BR can be used as a playback device for your smartphone or tablet, for example.

In addition, this great music centre has a headphone output and an AUX-IN connection. The supplied remote control is the central control element of the hi-fi device.
